Affiliate disclosure

Teatre is a free tea guide for curious drinkers. We are not a shop, and we do not sell tea. Some of the outbound "Buy →" links on tea pages route through a redirect that may append an affiliate parameter — when that's the case, the destination vendor pays us a small commission if you make a purchase. There is no extra cost to you.

How it works

Every outbound vendor link uses the same intermediate redirect at /go/<vendor>/<tea>/<size>/. When a vendor has signed an affiliate agreement with us, the redirect appends a tracking parameter (e.g. ref=teatre) before sending you to the vendor's product page. Vendors with no affiliate relationship redirect to the bare product URL with no parameters added.

What stays neutral

• Which vendors are listed: based on quality and audience interest, not commission rates.
• What we say about a tea or vendor: we do not soften reviews to protect a commission.
• Tea descriptions, origin notes, brewing parameters, and cultivar entries are vendor-neutral and written to help you choose and brew tea.

Required by law

US visitors: this disclosure satisfies FTC 16 CFR §255. EU/UK visitors: this satisfies UCPD/CMA equivalents. If you ever see a "Buy →" link on Teatre, treat it as a sponsored outbound link by default.
