Guangxi (formally the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region) is a southern Chinese province whose Wuzhou City is the home of Liu Bao tea — a post-fermented dark tea (heicha) named after the historical Liubao Town in Cangwu County, with documentary records of cultivation going back over 1,500 years and well-aged examples prized for their distinctive "betel-nut aroma" (binglang xiang).
