Guizhou is a mountainous southwestern Chinese province whose Du Yun Mao Jian green tea is consistently listed among China's Top Ten Famous Teas. The tea's modern fame is sometimes traced to a story that Mao Zedong named it after receiving a gift of Guizhou leaf; irrespective of the legend, it has a tribute-tea record dating to the Qing dynasty.
