Mt. Emei in Sichuan is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the source of Zhuyeqing — the early-spring "Bamboo Leaf Green" tea named in 1964 by Foreign Minister Chen Yi when he tasted it at the Wannian Temple. Tea here grows at 800–1,200 m on slopes around Wannian Temple, Qingyin Pavilion, Bailong Cave and Heishui Temple.
