Enshi (officially the Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture) sits in the Wufeng Mountains of western Hubei. It is the source of En Shi Yu Lu — first produced in the Tang dynasty and revived as a steamed green tea in 1936, when local makers replaced pan-fixation with steam and renamed the result "Jade Dew" for its emerald colour.
