Mt. Lu (also Kuanglu) is a UNESCO World Heritage site in northern Jiangxi and one of China's most painted and poetised mountains. Its high-elevation tea fields are covered by a sea of clouds for many days a year — exactly the conditions that give Lushan Yunwu (Cloud and Mist) its name and the long, slow leaf maturation that produces the tea's hallmark sweetness and lingering aftertaste.
