Huoshan Huangya (Huoshan Yellow Buds)
Huò Shān Huáng Yá · 霍山黄芽 (霍山黃芽)
Huoshan Huangya is a yellow tea from the Huoshan area of Anhui, made via the "men huang" (sealed yellowing) step that distinguishes yellow tea from green: a brief covered period after kill-green softens the chlorophyll and produces a sweeter, less grassy cup.
