Иньдэ — городской уезд на севере Гуандуна с чайной историей, уходящей к династии Мин (1368–1644). Современный красный чай Иньдэ начал расти в 1970-х с введением новых сортов — самым известным стал Иньхун № 9 (英红九号), выведенный в 1961 году из юньнаньского крупнолистного сорта (Юньнань Да Е Чжун) и сертифицированный как провинциальный сорт в 1986 году. Иньдэ Хун Ча получал множество наград на внутренних и международных чайных конкурсах.
