Long Jing
Láo Shān Lóng Jǐng · 崂山龙井
Long Jing #43 transplanted to Shandong's Laoshan coast yields a distinctly different cup than its Zhejiang origin — fuller-bodied, nuttier, with a heavier mouthfeel from the cooler northern climate. Pan-fired in flat Long Jing-style leaves, but the marine air and long-day Shandong summers compress the picking window and intensify the flavour.
