Tiě Luó Hàn · 铁罗汉 (鐵羅漢)

wuyi-yancha

Tieluohan ("Iron Arhat" or "Iron Warrior Monk") is one of the Wuyi Mountain "Si Da Ming Cong" — the Four Famous Bushes of Northern Fujian — alongside Da Hong Pao, Bai Ji Guan, and Shui Jin Gui. Per Wikipedia it originated in the mid-to-late 1700s and is considered the oldest of the four, named after a legend of a powerful warrior monk with golden-bronze skin. The cup is full- bodied and supple with gentle floral notes and the long finish typical of Wuyi yancha.
