Yueguang Bai ("Moonlight White") is a Yunnan white tea from Jinggu County in Pu'er City, made from the local Jinggu Da Bai (Yangta Da Bai) large-leaf cultivar — distinguishable by big silver-white buds and a "fresh-olive" aromatic. Unlike Fujian whites, it is fully air-dried with no oven roast, and its natural wither finishes in under 24 hours rather than the 36+ used in Fujian; the resulting leaves are half-black, half-white in appearance, hence "moonlight". The name only entered the market in the late 2000s; classification is contested — sometimes considered a variant of pu-erh due to the Yunnan large-leaf cultivar — but its processing fits the white category.

Tolerates hotter water than Fujian whites because of the larger Yunnan leaf. The half-black-half-white leaf makes a beautiful glass brew.
