Phoenix Dancong Mi Lan Xiang (Honey Orchid Aroma)
Fèng Huáng Mì Lán Xiāng · 凤凰蜜兰香 (鳳凰蜜蘭香)
Mi Lan Xiang ("honey orchid aroma") is the most widely produced and commercially available of the Phoenix (Fenghuang) Dancong oolongs from the Phoenix Mountains in Chao'an County, Chaozhou City, Guangdong. Like all Dancong, it descends from the Fenghuang Shuixian population: individual mother trees with exceptional aroma were propagated clonally and named for their fragrance. Mi Lan Xiang's aroma is honey-sweet nectar with orchid and ripe stone-fruit notes.
